Are you an Experienced foster carer? Or are you just thinking of fostering as a new career? We are interested in working with people who want to make a real difference to children and young people in care by providing a supportive, nurturing and stable home environment.

IF YOU:
* Are over 25, single married or just living as a couple
* Have at least one spare bedroom
* Would be available to foster
* Have the ability to learn and rise to the challenge of fostering
* Have children no younger than 5 years old at home
* Can commit to a continuous training and development programme
* Have a strong supportive family and friends network

WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING EXPERIENCED FOSTER CARERS, WHO CAN FOSTER:

* 0 to 18 age range
* Large sibling groups
* Children with Physical Disabilities
* Children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders
* Young people seeking asylum
* A parent and child placement
* A 15 - 18 year old on an independent/supported living programme


In Kent, Essex and East Sussex and the surrounding areas, there remains a great need for foster carers who are prepared and/or experienced in working with the above types of young people.


All our Carers are fully supported by our 24 hour support team

We have a dedicated out of hours team that work around the clock every day of the year.

Preparation training

Being a new carer is not a problem. We provide preparation training at convenient times.

Full training is given throughout your foster care career

We provide on- going training throughout your fostering career.

Competitive fostering allowances paid, including a payment for skills

20 Days Respite per family a year

Monthly Support Groups/Training

These give our carers a chance to meet other carers and interact on a social level.

Weekly Telephone calls and Regular Home Visits

A member of the support team will call weekly and visit your home regularly for support and guidance.

Representation at all meetings

As a Moments carer you will always have representation at meetings.
